Hi, I saw Dr Pugh after the staff took me through the various pictures and tests before seeing the doctor. I was in as a new diabetic for a diabetic eye exam. I'm actually seeing better than I had been last year. I asked about the improvement and the doc said that since I've been trying some supplements, they could have improved the vision and maybe eating healthier has had an impact. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. And this particular doctor smiles a lot, gives good advice and helps you to feel better about yourself. He also has a good energy about himself. I recommend him to others.

My Mom and I had to adjacent appointments. The staff and Dr. Pugh were very accommodating by allowing both my Mom and me have the eye exams in the same room. This allowed me to listen and ask questions and clarify my mom's concerns regarding her eyes. The staff was very efficient. Dr. Pugh was very informative and personal.

I was very happy with my appointment yesterday at Southwestern Eye Center. I signed in and within a few minutes I was called to do
tests before I saw the doctor. Dr. Pugh was very thorough in revewing the results of my tests. It was a very pleasant experience.

I have had several eye surgeries at Southwestern Eye Center at Stapley. I can't give higher accolades to the surgeons and the entire staff at this location. I think everyone must love their job there because they never fail to be efficient, show concern and care, answer all questions, and have a happy disposition. I have recommended them to a number of my friends with great confidence.

Took my wife in for shingles with a referral from the emergency room. It took nearly 2 hours to be seen, even with an appointment. When we returned for the follow up visit, they placed us in a crowded room full of seniors despite the contagious nature of the condition. We then waited for another two hours. I would suggest either expanding the practice to meet the demand you receive or cease overbooking. That being said, the staff were friendly despite the incompetence of whoever schedules the appointments where you have fifty people waiting for multiple hours. They put up a sign thinking that excuses the completely unacceptable wait times they subject their patients to, which are being advertised as 1 to 2 hours for a diabetic or vision exam and 2 to 3 hours for specialist consultations. It's a real shame the practice is ran this way because the care we received was great. Do yourself a favor and find another location for your care, especially if you aren't willing to wait several hours to see your doctor.

The staff was nice enough. But no one gave me ANY after treatment instructions. My eyes were dilated with drops for a diabetic eye exam. Not being familiar with this at all, I left the building blind as a bat not being offered protective lenses that my friend said I should have been given, and I couldn't drive. I had to call a family member to come get me. This over site on the facilities site didn't instill very much confidence towards them. They should treat every patient as if this is their first time EVER, like it was for me.

Facility was clean and all personnel were professional. Dr Puegh was friendly and thorough. Easy to talk with. 4 stars only because had to wait a half hour past my scheduled time.

You have full control over whether or not you wish to move forward with doctor's recommendations whether is lts surgery or not.

They work with you so you understand everything fully.
