Absolutely disgusting. Store claims to be open until midnight, but past a certain point in the evening, ALL entry doors are locked, and they require customers to enter through their exit door. This means that they have decided nobody handicapped, disabled, or elderly needs to visit their store late at night, as the automatic exit doors do not let people in without manually pulling them open (and they're heavy, even for able bodied people). This ALSO means that they have chosen to not remain ADA compliant during operating hours. Furthermore, their meat case was almost entirely blocked off by metal carts and pallets - I couldn't buy what I wanted anyway once I got into the store. Completely unacceptable.

Their food selection is really good and there are some decent sale prices. The store is always clean but the bathrooms are always dirty. There’s never enough baggers any time of the day but the carts always seem to be available. The deli prices are difficult to see but the deli workers are always efficient. Unfortunately one of the cashiers always has terrible BO. I avoid him it’s so bad.

Expired meats!!!!!! As a reminder, always check expiration dates for meat and dairy when at Jewel, or any other large corporation store. They simply cannot be bothered with ethics and always try to sell expired meats. Found these gems on September 8, 2024

Just want to add more comments to my review. This store has been pathetic first of all the uperk system does not work at checkout for two days in a row. There are some people with vulger manners arriving in the milk section I'm trying to pick a milk out and a husky white female was rushing through me to pick hers out first. It's been really ridiculous shopping here. What are the Rain check terms and conditions. Jewel needs to display register total so the customer can see it. You really got to look really close at your transaction total. Today new day new sale no product on assorted loin pork chops. Advertises products they do not have such as the Papa Charlie's,bone in pork chops was told minutes before arriving plenty in stock when arrived non in stock. I had another customer cut in front of me. Then at the service desk there was a anxious male employee trying to do the same cutting in front. And leaving the store is a complete nightmare no walking space on side walk.

The Jewel in Tinleypark is very clean and everything is always in order. I've been going to this Jewel for over 20 year's and I have never had a complaint or a problem with this store.

Customer service, Deli and cashiers all very nice. I don't know who in the bakery makes the Apricot Kolacky but please let them know they are amazing!

My family had been going to for some time now. The ladies at the deli, guys in produce, and the cashiers are all great. My main problem with this store, is at the butcher/fish counter. I dread going there because EVERY week, whoever is working there(it's usually different people), if anyone is ever there, isn't thrilled to see anyone, always get an attitude. If they would stock the area outside of the counter with the meat or fish that's on sale, I wouldn't even bother, but that's not usually the case. It's been that bad that my husband and I have been going to other stores. This store needs to take notice that there's other grocery stores, Walmart, Costco, Sam's Club, Target, Caputo's, Amazon Fresh, Meijer, Whole Foods, Aldi, and Pete's Market opening in the spring.

This has been are go to location despite the Frankfort location being closer. My wife and I were going to do the self checkout when Susan S. stopped us and said its an express lane. We had 27 items in the cart while no one was in line and five registers open. We had to go stand in a regular line and then proceed to bag our own items. What was the point of all this hassle then? Im just disappointed with the whole situation as this was the only that didn't strictly enforce a 15 item or less rule.
