After having several solicitors knock on our door to conduct water tests, we decided to take a closer look at our options for whole-house water purification. We vetted three different companies before deciding to explore the option Costco advertises with EcoWater. While it wasn’t the cheapest option, it was comparable to others, and we ultimately chose EcoWater because of Costco’s reputation for quality products and excellent customer satisfaction—and because of Mike Lamborn.

HORRIBLE!!! I'm reading everyone's 1 star rating and I confirm that they're all true! We can't even get anyone to come service the machine because the service light is flashing and says service required, its been over a month we called. They promised no hard water ring in our new toilets, soft feeling skin and soft hair but unfortunately non of those things ever happened!! We tried to return the system a few months after purchasing because we had problems with the system but they just put us on the ignore list and said after a year they will no longer be responsible for our problems. The worst $8k purchase we've ever made and we had just retired so that really hurt our income especially when it doesn't even work like we were promised!
I let Costco know it's a terrible product and company they're promoting in their store being that's who we purchased it thru.

installed eco water system for $7595 through Costco. After 1 year, the quality goes bad. We can not drink the water any more. We call for service. There is a charge around $300. Before we had the system installed, the sale person told us that the water will be taken care forever. It was a lie. We have to pay for maintenance. It is very expensive. We feel like we were cheated. The water quality now is very bad. We cannot drink it. The sale person told us we get free shampoo, soap, laundry soap forever. But later on we find out. They are free only four time. Even so, the product has no use. We still buy drinking water, soap….at Costco.

Believe the negative reviews. Go else where for your soft water system. EcoWater will promise you the world but, don't deliver. I was told my system will be life time warranty. NOT!! EcoWater came out for a service repair. Charged me. What happened to the life time warranty. Then tried to up sale me a new soft water system. Stated that my system was out dated and can't be fixed. Really EcoWater

Beware of this company and don't waste your money! I purchased a whole house water filter and RO filter approximately 1 year ago and paid almost $8,000. They assured me that the system had a lifetime warranty and they would take care of any issues. We are seeing a buildup of sediment in our brand new shower heads. I called the sales guy who sold us the system and was told that he no longer works for eco water. He told me I should reach out to Liz. I also called the installer and he also no longer works with ecowater. I sent Liz 3 emails and got no response. I tried to call twice and was told that she's unavailable. The person answering the phone said that the only option is to either pay $140 for a service call or pay $230 for them to come out and swap the RO filters and test the water. What happened to the lifetime warranty?

Buyers Beware! Please believe every bad rating on here about Eco Water. They are horrible in every way. My install was the worst per the senior tech who came out to fix the first tech’s mistakes. The office has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They will hound you to service the system, but will rarely call you back when you have a concern. A tech came out last week to service my system. Three days later a pipe cracked and I had water everywhere. Took me half the day to clean it all up. When the tech came out to diganois the problem, he said it was a coincednnece Seriously! They did not comp me or anything. The tech had an attiutde as if it was my fault. They are SO extrmely rude. They don’t even deserve one star. Trust me, please do business with anyone else but Eco water. You’re welcome!
