This was reasonably priced when I first rented the unit several years ago. However, by the end I was paying more than $120 per month for a climate controlled 5 ft by 5 ft space. That price is absurd given that other nearby competitors are offering equivalent units for less than half that.

What's even more infuriating is that when I look at the prices for my unit at the facility, the price is listed as $72 in store with a special of $36 if a unit is reserved through the website. Why was I paying so much more? I guess they expect that people will tend to keep storage units as long as the pricing increases are gradual.

The facility also feels run down, with wooden bumpers falling off the walls and the metal walls having significant damage in places.

I needed a storage unit to fit my one bedroom apartment into while looked for another home and Abel at CubeSmart Storage on Speedway in Tucson handled everything for me with a smile…! If anyone needs a climate controlled unit GO SEE ABEL at CubeSmart! He gave me all the breaks all the perks he even let me use the movie truck anytime I needed it for FREE! All I had to do was replace any gas I used. While I looked for a new home I needed an address in which to have my items ordered online shipped to. Abel informed me that CubeSmart accepts packages for its clients! Isn’t that fantastic? If you want a great deal on a storage, a cool manager in the office who looks out for you and the use of a FREE moving truck plus package deliver options….go to Cube Smart and see Abel!

I went to the location on speedway to talk to somebody about renting a small storage unit. I was immediately greeted and offered help. She was super friendly and answered all my questions, the whole process from start to finish only took about 15 minutes. I'm sure it would have been a little quicker if I didn't have so many questions! Haha!
Anyways, everything appeared to be clean, safe and secure. They have rolling carts to help with all the boxes and it actually ended up costing less than I thought it would.

Able the manager is great! This review is not about him, I would give him a 5 Star! However. My 1 Star review is in the building and upper management. Be prepared to have rate increases every 6 months at 20% on your unit. The building also has a leaky roof that has not been replaced or repaired and the patch work doesn’t hold, I’ve had water damage to my property. After renting for several years it is time to go.
